Pop Went the Marketing Strategy

Reports that the Woolworths Marketing Manager has left the country can not be confirmed at this time.

I am sure we could take a few here in Royal Friendly South Australia.

Thanks for the Souvenir Tip UK Daily Pundit

I want one of these. But note how he is leaning away from her in the pic.

When I heard about the Woolworths merchandise, I knew that sod's law would dictate the rest.

Shouldn't be selling that sort of tat anyway.

(NB. I work for Woolies!)

I want one too. I went to High School in St Andrews and it has a real personal connection. I really believe that they will become very valuable collectables. I still remember my plastic plates from childhood. I know they could sell a bundle here in South Australia. Just stamp Gone but not forgotten on them.

I bet they become really valuable, too. How royal friendly /unfriendly do you think Australia is? Do you think the country will break away completely when the Queen dies?

The only reason that a Republic did not get approval that last time there was a referendum, other than some robust opposition from die hard royalists, was that people could not agree on what to replace it with. There was a strong perception that it would be another gravy pit for politicians. If Labor is elected this year I would say that it is most likely that another referendum. I suspect the closer that Charles comes to being King, the greater the motivation for a republic.
